Piercing Addiction

So.... I tend to be one of those people who are really practical and think things through and save money and am really careful about things....

But I'm also the kind of person that gets an idea in their head and it never leaves....

And I'm also one of those people who finds something enjoyable and just keeps going with it until it is thoroughly exhausted.

And I have found mine: piercings.


This past week, I have gotten two: right nostril and left tragus.

It started out with me wanting to get my nose done for about 2 years now. So I did that Sunday (ironically my mom's birthday, haha).
Then I decided I LOVED it and went with three guys today to get various holes made (and filled) in our bodies.

Tah dah! An addiction is born!

I'm hoping to get my ears legit pierced at some point (or maybe just do them myself? I dunno yet) then get a rook and snug piercing and eventually a bunch of cartilage. I'll be doing my ears instead of my face, so it doesn't look too trashy.

I want to get a rook and snug done eventually. Don't know which ears yet, but oh well. I've got plenty of time.

I'd really like to get an eyebrow done, but I'll wait and see if I get my study abroad or have to go back to work. Same with the ears. I can only have 1 earring in each ear at the theatre. And no facial piercings. So I have to be sure I get them done early enough so I can put in a retainer by the time I go back.

There is an awesome place here called Evolved, and they do 2-for-1 Piercing Thursdays, so I think that's what I'll end up doing next time.
The people are fantastic (I have had my work done by Rev and Jared)! And very, very helpful.

But yes, total addiction. Which is why I went twice this week instead of on Thursday. And which also indicates that I have a new addiction.

A snow day spent well!! ^_^

Now I need to start saving up for my study abroad...
That means no more piercings for Emily T_T

I hate needles, but I love piercings... You do the math!
